The natural tapestry of Fife, woven from blue water, volcanic stone and rolling green spaces has provided the inspiration for Briar Homes’ newest showhome at Weavers View in Kennoway.
Celebrating Briar’s first development in Fife, the three-bedroom Ash takes subtle cues from the fabric of the kingdom. A calm palette of muted blues, soft greys and balanced warm oak-wood finishes carries that sense of place through the home. Together, the colours, textures and characeristic finishes bring elements of the landscape indoors, creating a bright and relaxed contemporary interior.

Alison Harding of AMW Designs said: “We wanted the interiors of the Ash to have a real connection to its Fife setting, taking inspiration from the colours and textures of the landscape without interpreting them too literally.
“There’s a softness to the scheme that runs throughout the home, but we’ve layered different textures and finishes to give each room its own character. It was important that the finished design felt considered and cohesive, while still creating spaces that people can imagine themselves living in.”
The award-nominated Ash is a three-bedroom semi-detached villa spanning approximately 1,025 sq ft. On the ground floor, an open-plan kitchen and dining area flows into a generous lounge with a feature window, maximising natural light and creating flexible space for everyday life and entertaining.
Upstairs are three well-proportioned bedrooms, including a principal bedroom with en-suite shower room. Two bedrooms benefit from fitted mirrored storage, with a contemporary family bathroom completing the first floor.
Open from Friday 18 September, the Ash is now available to view and becomes the second showhome to open at Weavers View, joining the four-bedroom Alder+ and giving prospective buyers the opportunity to experience two different house styles at Briar Homes’ first Fife development.
Ainslie McCrone, Sales & Marketing Manager at Briar Homes, said: “Opening the Ash gives visitors another opportunity to step inside a Briar home and experience the space, finish and quality for themselves.
“With three bedrooms and a layout designed around everyday life, the Ash also offers something different from our four-bedroom Alder+ showhome. Having both available to view gives prospective buyers a better sense of the range of homes and lifestyles Weavers View can accommodate.”
Weavers View will bring 123 new homes to Kennoway, with a mix of three and four-bedroom properties creating a new neighbourhood within the established Fife community.
Homes at Weavers View feature a high-quality specification including kitchens by Jackton Moor with integrated appliances, Roca sanitaryware, Porcelanosa tiling and EV charging provision.
The development is within reach of Leven, St Andrews and the East Neuk, while the reopening of Leven railway station has strengthened transport connections across the wider area.
The Weavers View sales centre on Leven Road, Kennoway, is open Thursday to Monday, 11am-5pm. For further information or to arrange a viewing of the new showhome, contact Slater Hogg & Howison on 01592 730014 or visit the Briar Homes website.
